Highlights from the event:

Android app for Business & Mobile marketing:

Some interesting links, resources to Build your app, market it, get users to download it, promote and make money out of it, but most important of all…. get users to use the app:

– “launchrock” – A great resource to promote the app

– Make sure to build an audience even before the app is launched. Get users to talk about it.

– Android now allows use of videos: Use this rich media to further get a larger reach of your app.

Use sites/apps like Mailbox, orchestratodo, spotify, startupvideos.com,appvj.com, mention about your app in your business cards, Proudly even flaunt a T-shirt that shouts out for your app…. do it all. But at the end of the day…..make sure that you have an app that users will really love using.

 App Store optimization:

  • Keep your App name short and if possible, try fitting in a keyword
  • Don’t use individual names or the app developer’s names, instead use the brand or the app’s name itself
