    Hi there,

I am a blackberry addict. Especially after BB Prices dropped for the young I got myself one as soon as i got out of college. BB will always have its status. Though when i see my friends do so many stuff using their android it sometimes now feels whether it was worth it as BB cost to call and internet is very expensive still. may be thats why they have lagged behind.

    thanks for this article though.

    Hi Rajeev,

Thanks for Your views. True the brand campaign of ‘we are blackberry boys’ was to pull in the younger generation in addition to the Corporate. But I guess when You have all the features, sleeker phones, better apps to manage your business and fun side, it was obvious to see Android taking over. Whats your personal view. Would you be a continued BB user only or with so many apps, do you see yourself shifting towards the green bot of android 🙂

BlackBerry are light years behind in the smartphone game no question, i owned a Storm2 for less than a year and have just bought a Google nexus s.
My BlackBerry was constantly freezing, crashing and throwing up errors. Don’t get me started on the reboot time.
The number of apps available is shocking and the price even more so, although its not exactly suprising when they charge developers $200 to publish 10 applications.
I have also dabbled in developing for BlackBerry and the exact same can be said for that side of the coin. To produce just a simple User Interface is a nightmare and takes far longer than it should.

Thanks for Your comments & views. Very true. I guess, with the Mobile technology & the Free apps capturing markets globally, they need to ask themselves the question…. BB “Are YOU missing something?”
