Dear Readers,

It gives me immense pleasure to announce the Launch of TECHDIVINE™ studios FIRST Official WRITING CONTEST!

TECHDIVINE Studios: YOUR Write up Contest

The winners could get a chance to win various prizes:
1. A copy of TD studios first International poetry book “EXPRESSIONS” by Ananthanarayanan V  & TECHDIVINE  Merchandise worth Rs.1000/- (First Prize winner)

2. TECHDIVINE  Merchandise worth Rs.500/- (Second Prize Winner)

3. Get their own Custom made Wiki button for their website if any (Third Prize Winner)

4. All three WINNERS can get a chance to DISPLAY and POST their write ups in the MAIN TD Studios blog site and also to share it across different sites. And under the winners discretion they can post the write ups finally with their Complete details, portfolio and Photograph.

We at TD studios are proud to announce the “Your Write up” Contest, an initiative simply to promote writing.

The criteria & rules are very simple. So get your keypad set and start penning.

Contest Start date: May 15th 2009 (10:00 hours IST)
Last date of submission: August 15th 2009 (20:00 hours IST)

Results will be announced on 20/8/09 (by 12 noon)

The quicker you submit, better are your chances to be voted highest

Submission guidelines:
1. Submission should be in word format typed neatly with single spacing and default A4 Page settings in (Word 97-03 format) in Verdana font size 10 (Submit your write up at: techdivine@gmail.com)
2. Writer has the discretion to use a maximum of one image if felt necessary for the story (Image should be original content created by writer / author. Image should not exceed 1Mb in file size and should be only in “jpg/jpeg” format)
3. The story content must be a write up which can be read by every age reader (So make sure No Adult topic / content allowed)
4. Word limit: 100 to 1000 words only.
5. Topics can be chosen from the following:
a. Magical fable
b. Fiction
c. Real life story
d. Children’s story
e. Myth / Legend (Original characters created by author on his/her own)
f. Folk tale
g. Saga
h. Parable
i. Mystery
j. Humor
k. Thriller
l. Suspense
m. Social message
n. Drama

Rules:
1. No entry fee required.
2. Maximum of 3 entries per person allowed
3. NO poetry or rhymed prose.
4. Open to all ages from school kids to senior citizens.
5. TECHDIVINE TM reserves the right to edit and or not post entries it receives. Not all entries we receive get posted online.
6. Everyone who enters has an equal opportunity to see their entry winning a chance, to get posted to the MAIN TD Studios blog site and shared across different sites. We would allow the winning entries to also under their discretion post the write ups finally with their Complete details and Photograph.
7. The top 3 entries can also get a chance to win an e-book of these stories compiled from TD studios with their portfolios listed across various sites.
8. By entering into the contest you allow us to post your entry and name on our site, either as a single entry or as part of a collection of entries in an eBook.
9. You must include your Name, City, Age, Occupation and State. Entries without these details will not be considered for submission & contest.
10. You may also include a link to your website, blog, or social network site in the write up.
11. Students under 18 must have their parent or guardian sign off on the entry with their email, name and occupation before submitting their entry.
12. The copyright of the story would rest with You only.
13. Contest Start date: May 15th 2009 (10:00 hours IST). Last date of submission is August 15th 2009 (20:00 hours IST). If you do not hear from us after three months your story didn’t make the cut.
14. Also, after the contest, if you post your story to your own website or blog, it’d be great if you linked back to the TD Site
Some useful tips:
Your story would be more interesting if it can involve any or all of the elements like:
a. A Central character
b. Conflict
c. Humor
d. Obstacles
e. Complications
f. Secrets
g. A strong social message
h. Conclusion.
