Google revamps image search<\/strong><\/p>\n

Google announced in a blog post that it is making changes to its Image search, making it more faster and providing a better search experience. Images will now be displayed in an inline panel. Users will be able to navigate \u00a0through these images using their keyboard as well. The following is what image search currently looks like :<\/p>\n

The image pops up on hovering the mouse pointer over any thumbnail. Clicking on the thumbnail takes you to a separate page. Where you can find the original web page the image was found on. \u00a0The new image search by Google will look as below :<\/p>\n

Clicking on any image will open the image on an inline panel on the same page. The meta data is shown underneath the results in the search page itself. The inline view also displays other important information about the image like the title of the page where the image is hosted \u00a0and the image size. This eliminates the navigation to a separate landing page. You can continue looking through other search results for your query from the same page itself.<\/p>\n
