Google Plus updates Circles feature<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Google<\/a><\/p>\n

Google Plus<\/a> has rechristened the Circles tab as “Find Friends” in a new update. This update makes it easier for users to connect with people<\/a> they have communicated with, who might not be on Google Plus.<\/p>\n

As you can see in the image above, the Circles feature has been renamed as “Find Friends”. Clicking on it lists friends suggestions based on people in your circles and other information filled in your profile. On the right hand side is a small list which will help you to add contacts from Gmail<\/a>, your workplace or place of education that you have listed in your bio. Apart from Gmail<\/a>, Google Plus will also list other people with whom you have interacted using any of Google’s services. The Circles feature is still available at the top of the page. It is labelled as “Your circles”. You can still organize and add people to different circles with the circle editor. It is now easier to import contacts from other email accounts as well. This is probably a push to bring more people into Google Plus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Other minor updates include the ability to download images from events albums. When attending an event, Google Plus smartly captures all photos contributed by users into one consolidated album. After the event is over, you can now grab all the photos that you and other event attendees have contributed by clicking the “Actions” button and selecting “Download event photos”.<\/p>\n

The app ribbon on the left hand side of the screen can now be organized as per your interests too. You can just drag the icons to the top or bottom as per your requirement.<\/p>\n
