Dates: January 2nd 2016 and January 3rd 2016 (Saturday and Sunday – 10:00 am – 6:00 pm)

Highlights of the workshop:

Participants got hands-on experience on their laptops to practice the following with a step-by-step guidance from my end:

Day 1:

1. BLOG:

  • They learnt step-by-step process on HOW-TO create a WORDPRESS Blog / Site on their own.
  • Post a blog article and make it live
  • Experience settings and Widget tools of the Blogs to enable better and easier functionality for their readers
  • EMBED Videos from YouTube, Twitter Feed posts with images and links into their blog posts
  • Learn about importance of SEO, Tags, Categories and few other functionalities while creating their own website / blog using WordPress.
  • Making their article LIVE and sharing it across social media platforms.
  • 2. Social media analytics – METRICS
  • Understanding the importance of metrics in a social media marketing and digital marketing campaign.
  • What are the different types of metrics that one needs to measure for social media
  • What type of data and analysis is needed for digital marketing brand campaigns
  • Use of data like demographics, devices, location, platforms, links, etc in measuring success of a ROI or SALES conversion campaign.

3. SEO: Search engine optimization

  • Impact of SEO on websites and Search engine and optimizing SEO using Images, videos, alt tags etc

4. Case Study Analysis and Approach – How to design a digital marketing campaign:

  • Important aspects and steps while planning a digital markeitng campaign for a corporate brand
  • Looking into details of Case studies and how my award winning digital agency used social media and digital marketing to deliver ROI for corporate brands using these process, tools and techniques.

5. Twitter:

  • How to use Twitter: From start a step-by-step process
  • Importance of a Tweet, Hashtag, adding videos and pictures and understanding RT, Likes and metrics

Day 2:

6. Google Adwords:
– What is Google adwords
– Step-by-step guide in creating different TYPES of ADS using Google Adwords
– What are video ads and how do they affect your campaign
– Brief details about difference between Adwords and Adsense
– Types of Features of adwords and what each of them do
– Tracking reports of Google adwords and adjusting settings for DEVICES eg. Mobile, laptops etc for the ADS.
– Do’s and Don’t of ADWORDS
– What can get you banned from Adwords
– What can deliver best results from Adwords – eg. Rich media images, ad relevance, ad quality etc
– About AD bids, keywords, link urls etc

7. Case Study analysis –
– Using Google Adwords, Blog, Twitter to create and generate best Social media marketing ROI results – We saw two case studies in detail and the process used to design a social media marketing campaign using the above tools and process

8. Facebook:
– What makes a facebook BRAND page distinct
– Types of Facebook ADS and what they can do for your BRAND
– Do’s and Don’ts of Facebook ads

9. Importance of integrating MARKETING and TECHNOLOGY with your social media campaign
10. HUMANIZE YOUR BRAND and what it can for you as a Professional and individual.
11. Analyzing METRICS in real-time with participants LIVE tweets, hashtags, videos and pictures etc

12. Few other topics discussed were: Viral marketing, Email marketing, influencer marketing, brand marketing, blogging as a brand and blogging as individuals, importance of free and paid blog platforms, do’s and don’t online as a Brand and as an individual or a marketing professional.  And ending the session with a ‘Q & A’
