Tweet interactive images with links

Thinglink Techdivine Image

A new service called Thinglink now lets you embed links in images that you tweet. So far Twitter only shows a preview of images that you natively tweet. Thinglink lets you insert links into the image that can lead to your Facebook profile, your Twitter account, YouTube Channel and so on.

Here is an example of how a Tweet with a thinglink image looks like.

Alternatively you can find the tweet here on our Twitter profile.

A small pop up hovers over the markers, when you move your mouse pointer over them. The description can be edited as per your preference. You can find all images that you have created so far in your thinglink gallery. Free users are limited to 100 images. This is an innovative and really cool method of packing more content into a tweet without confusing the user with unnecessarily long links.

Do give it a spin and share your thinglink tweets here with us.
