Twitter introduces a new way to share short video clips with Vine

Twitter has just introduced Vine, a new way to share short clips of videos to your Twitter feed. The Vine app only allows videos of upto 6 seconds along the lines of Twitters 140 character limit. This means that you have to be as creative with your videos, as you are with your tweets.

Twitter had taken over Vine back in October but it finally got to see the light of day now. As of now it is only available to download for iPhone and iPod Touch users, but Twitter has promised to roll it out for other platforms soon. Videos are recorded along with the sound although the sound is muted by default. Once you record your videos, it is uploaded and embedded in your tweets and keeps playing in an endless loop. Twitter’s CEO Dick Costolo first gave users a sneak peek at this app with a video shared on his timeline.
