STEP 1 – Calculate the Total visits to your website

STEP 2 – No of visits – No of visits to your Core Landing page or form page or Lead generation page (the CTA – Call to Action pages)

STEP 3 – From the number of visitors who come to your Landing page, what Percentage of them convert to Leads and or enquiries.

STEP 4 – From this Percentage of Leads and or enquiries how many of them actually get converted to being your customers.

STEP 5 – As a business, you would have an estimate or a know-how of how much is each customer worth (on an average) for your business i.e. the (CLV) Customer Lifetime Value  based on (CAC) Customer acquisition cost (Check out this book that deals with information about Customer lifetime value,customer acquisition cost on Social media ROI for brands).

STEP 6 – What is the total cost that your business has incurred to get this customer visit your website, enquire and then get converted to an actual customer by making purchases of your products and or services. For eg, spending on adwords, facebook ads, twitter, gamification etc
